Montana is one of the prettiest places I have ever been. I had never been skiing before, so this was such an amazing experience. On the drive from the airport to the resort, we got to see so many animals along the side of the road- my favorite was the bighorn sheep. I started off taking private lessons with a super cool instructor named Pablo. He took me out for 3 hours in the morning and toured me around the mountain. It was such a fun experience and I learned to love skiing. We stayed at the Huntley Lodge so we were right at the bottom of the mountain. This made getting around extremely easy. We got up early and made sure to be the first ones on the slopes so that we could beat the crowd. This was such a great idea and I suggest it if you are going during the peak season.
We took one of the ski lifts to the top of the mountain and stopped for lunch at Everett’s 8800. This was definitely my spot at Big Sky. The food was delicious, we had great drinks (as you can see in the picture above), and the view was priceless. After our break, we skied down and enjoyed the rest of our day. Another good place we ate at most nights for dinner was Chet’s Bar & Grill. This place was very convenient to our lodge and the food was very good- oh, and the Moscow mule was deeeelicious. We ended most nights with a beer in the hot tub. This trip was so much fun!
